Neil moved from England to California in 2003 and now lives in Orange County with his two sons and Maggie, the world's most energetic Victorian Bulldog. He has been a professional graphic artist for over twenty-five years and published his first novel in England in 1999. 

A life-long martial artist, Neil is also a dedicated father to a son with autism. When he is not working, staying fit, or writing ambitious fiction, Neil enjoys riding his motorcycle and tormenting his father in northern England via FaceTime with weekly reports on the perfect Californian weather.
